the power is off again here today. yesterday it was off from about 4 pm to 9 pm. Today it went off at about 1 pm and is still out as of now. I've got about 15 minutes left on this laptop's battery life before I lose internet access too. (I'm using the Verizon wireless card on this machine to post this). If it' doesn't kick back in soon it's going to get even warmer in here. Yesterday the house managed to stay relatively cool during the "black out".

The power is out here. The kid next door says it's been off for about a half hour and was going off and on before that. Yikes!

I've been out of the house since 8:45 am. I got a pedicure and the sort of lost track of time in clearance sale bargains at Macy's. The outside temp gauge in my car said 110 degrees when I pulled in the driveway just now.

Perhaps I should go back to the mall and see An Inconvenient Truth.
